What's This All Aboard?
According to this news reported by Mumbai Mirror, the Wharf Office at Ferry Wharf in the Mumbai Port Trust complex has been converted into a domestic cruise terminal. Apparently, a long time ago, this ship service was active and commonly used but was discontinued due to concerns by the Indian Navy.
Now, the Mumbai Port Trust and the Maharashtra Maritime Board have collaborated to bring back this mode of transport. The ship will start its journey from either Bhaucha Dhakka or Ferry Wharf in Mumbai and will take you straight to Panjim, the capital of Goa. The ship ride will start at INR 7,500 and the vessel has five-star facilities.
So, We're Saying...
While it seems a little unclear as to when it will officially start (even after the trial was launched on Wednesday), we are certainly excited about experiencing the city we frequently visit in a unique way.
