Cruise Control

We hear that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister for transport and shipping Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation for an international cruise terminal at Ballard Pier. As per reports, the Mumbai Port Trust aims to create a space such as in Miami, which means Mumbai will get floating restaurants and a marina {whaaat?} along with the cruise terminal {which is said to be humongous}. We’re told that domestic travellers will get a chance to go to Goa in a cruise. Reports suggest that “the terminal will be able to host cruise ships that carry up to 5,000 passengers and will have a capacity of seven lakh passengers.” How cool is this piece of news?
