Go for a cold salad in the summer, while winter (if there is such a thing in Mumbai), may draw you to a soup and sandwich.

Blah!

Blah is the newest addition to BKS's concrete jungle, and may we tell you that the brunches there are absolutely worth your time. This gastronomic hub serves breakfast and brunch plates from cuisines across the globe and has a very warm and summery ambiance. The furniture is wooden and rustic, the servings are eclectic and there's ample greenery, which sets an easygoing and fresh vibe.

What Not To Miss: Bacon and avocado rose benedict, truffle-infused scrambled egg, garlic stuffed pockets with cheese. 

Price: Blah has an a la carte brunch menu, but expect to shell out around INR 2,000 for two people.

The Finch

Set in an old factory in Powai, this restaurant, which is usually a nightclub, turns into a venue for a nice and healthy brunch every Sunday. In addition, it also has a variety of beers and cocktails. Also, the Sunday brunch comprises soup, salads, cold cuts,  desserts, starters and main course options.

What Not To Miss: All their food, especially desserts.

The Daily Bar & Kitchen, Bandra

The Daily Bar and Kitchen in Bandra is definitely one of Bandra's most happening hotspots. The restaurant cum bar has a four-course set Sunday brunch offering every week. The best part, it includes cocktails, sangria and beer too! The vibe is fun and relaxed, and the music is loud, making for a great casual outing with your friends.

What Not To Miss: Roasted chicken salad, Brioche pork pockets

The Little Door

With alfresco seating and a lively atmosphere, The Little Door in Andheri is a fun brunch destination. The restaurant serves up European fare—Greek, Spanish, Italian and more in a part buffet, part table-service setting. If you love karaoke, get up on stage and belt out your favourites at this restaurant—they have Sunday karaoke every weekend.

Loco Loca

Loco Loca's easygoing vibe and eclectic Indo-Spanish cuisine combine for an ideal Sunday afternoon. We love that they have free-flowing beer and sangria along with an unlimited food menu. Expect pasta and pizzas that are out of this world (we mean it). They also have live music that sets the mood for a fun time with friends, family or bae. 

What Not To Miss: Slow roast tomato and onion Shakshouka, Norwegian smoked salmon

Hakkasan, Bandra

Hakkasan in Bandra is the Mecca of delicious Asian food. Expect Chinese and Cantonese delicacies made with an authentic touch. A tad bit expensive (but absolutely worth it), Hakkasan serves an old-fashioned six-course Chinese brunch every Sunday to tantalize your tastebuds. Do not forget to try their dimsum!

What Not To Miss:  Crispy duck salad, edamame truffle dumpling, carrot cake

Indian BBQ Company

Want unlimited grills, barbecue and buffet at reasonable prices? Then Andheri's Indian BBQ Co's Sunday brunch is the best for your pockets! They've got 12 delish starters from all over the country, six salad variations, two kinds of soup, 12 main course items and 10 kinds of desserts. Apart from that, there are 10 different live counters whipping up kheema pavs, teppanyaki noodles, pav bhaji and so much more. Here's a quick tip: skip breakfast to save some space for their Sunday special brunch.

They offer a set menu for food every Sunday and you can choose from soups, salads, pizza, juices, salads and apps.

If you're in Lower Parel, head to Koko for The Sakura Brunch. This upscale Asian restaurant has an elegant vibe that's ideal for date nights, but they also happen to host a fab brunch on weekends that comprises 26 gob-smacking Asian delicacies to please your belly. Koko also has a live dimsum cart, and noodle and wonton bar.

Roots Of India

From paneer tikka from the taste of Punjab to the tadka of Rajasthan, Roots Of India captures the Indian culture and it’s flavours at its best. Tucked around Times Square in Marol, this fine-dinning place is popularly known for its masaledar North Indian and Mughlai food. Plus, they've got a great ambience, with a good share of greens, a classy bar and modern decor. Expect nine delectable starters, 12 main courses, three salads, two soups, one welcome drink, four desserts and even a live section for pasta.  

What Not To Miss: A great selection of wine and beer, mouth-watering Oriental starters, momo and sushi.

145 The Mill

Headed to the Lower Parel outpost? Check into 145 The Mill for what they're calling The Most Epic Brunch ever. Apart from a live band, a live crepe station and a chocolate cascade to throw it back to 2009, they have a specially curated gin menu to go with the brunch options. Every Sunday, beer and sangria will keep you company, if you're not looking for some heavy day drinking! 

What Not To Miss: Big Breakfast with eggs, mushroom, roasted tomato, potato manchego cake, hollandaise, sourdough, Spicy Salmon Tartare, Pulled Pork Charcoal Roll and the Tiramisu Pancake, which is a dessert lovers delight!

The Bombay Canteen

If you find yourself in in Lower Parel on a Sunday, head to The Bombay Canteen for what they're calling the 'No Rules Brunch', which is available every Saturday and Sunday. Whether you want to begin with chaat, eggs, cocktails or something else, this brunch has no rules. And, it's inspired by brunch classics across the globe. In classic TBC-style, they've elevated the chaats you know and love, so you can tuck into them or try out their rendition of 'Indianised' waffles. And, of course, there's a lot to sip on and be merry on along with the food from 11 AM to 4 PM.

What Not To Miss: Lump Crab Dahi Puri or Avocado Papdi Chaat. You'll also love the Parsi Scotch Eggs, Chorizo and Bacon Kulcha, Dosa Waffles, Jamun Club

The Little Easy

A relaxed space with American food, great booze and even live music at times, we can imagine ourselves unwinding at The Little Easy for a Sunday brunch. There's usually a live screening of a match or great music here on Sundays and the menu's variety indicates that there's something for everyone at this casual resto bar.

So, this Sunday brunch is one you must not miss. The music is relaxed, quite like the ambience, which can be a little colourful in parts. If you're in the mood for burritos, tacos and some salsa, you should definitely head here.
