As per this report, starting on January 12, the Mumbai Shopping Festival 2018 is organised by the state government “to boost the economy and promote Maharashtra’s culture”. At this 20-day long festival, which comes to a close on January 31, shopaholics can look forward to something they love- massive discounts.
There will be crazy deals all major shopping malls, retail brands and shopping hubs {street shopping}, along with discounts at the Taj Mahal Hotels across the city. The malls participating in the festival are Infiniti Mall at Malad, High Street Phoenix at Lower Parel, Phoenix Market City at Kurla, Oberoi Mall at Goregaon, Grand Central at Seawood Navi Mumbai and Viviana Mall at Thane.
According to reports, there will be many live acts {over 500 performances} at various locations in the city such as Girgaon Chowpatty, Crawford Market, Worli Sea Face, Shivaji Park, Carter Road and Juhu Beach {13 in total}. Foodies, there will be special arrangements for food aka food trucks that will keep you busy too.
The inauguration of the festival will happen at Jio Gardens, BKC and the closing ceremony will take place at Gateway of India.

We hear there will also be night markets {well, Mumbai’s a 24X7 city now, isn’t it?} and a lot more awesomeness in store. Frankly, we can’t wait for it to begin.
