Probably the best news to come in 2022, getting from SOBO to Navi Mumbai will now take only 45 minutes and is set to be an easy affair thanks to a 30-year-old plan coming to life...FINALLY. Say hello to Mumbai's Water Taxis! So if you're looking to go from the Domestic Cruise Terminal to the Belapur jetty in Navi Mumbai, you don't need to think twice! With a total of eight boats - seven speedboats that can carry up to 30 passengers, and a catamaran with a capacity of 50+ passengers, this will hopefully ease traffic and travel hassles. According to the report in Firstpost, the speed boats will take "around 30 minutes to reach Bhaucha Dhakka in South Mumbai from Belapur in Navi Mumbai, while the catamaran service will take 45 to 50 minutes on the same route." Tourists, take note. Elephanta Island and Kanhoji Angre Isle are also on this same route.
