What Is It?
The Museum Of Ordinary Objects is back with round two in Mumbai and it's being organised at Harkat studio in Andheri West on March 5. For the uninitiated, this temporary exhibition has been designed in such a way that everyone and anyone can participate. The visitors can be the curators of the museum and contribute their own objects to the exhibition.
Who Is It For?
For people who're fascinated by art. In the simplest words, it's an extraordinary exhibition for ordinary people. The exhibition is an initiative by Tram Arts Trust and Extension Arts. Find the simple joys in everyday objects as all of them will be placed anonymously by people. They're open to interpretation and will celebrate the stories of mundane affairs. An object for you may have meaning, and an object for the other person may have its own meaning.
Why Should I Go?
To participate in an exhibition that goes beyond the conventional realms of an 'art exhibition'. It's a participative . You will see hundreds of objects all set up by the organisers of the exhibition and regular people like you and I.
So, We're Saying…
Go explore this delightful museum with objects that have a story of their own - like an ordinary hat, or a plant or even a discarded wire of a guitar. They all have a story to tell, and you can tell yours too.
