Punjabi Heaven: This Versova Dhaba Is Selling Delicious, Sinful Blue Cheese Naan

Versova is now home to a Punju dhaba and we drooled over their bread variants.

A Punjabi eatery lined with charpais and bolsters to give you a feel of a highway dhaba, Dewano Da Dhaba is quietly tucked in one of the widest by lanes we’ve ever seen. The outdoor seating area is ideal for the night, and if you’re wondering if mosquitoes will come and say hi to you, don’t worry. They will burn some mosquito repellent. What other way to feel like you’re at a dhaba anyway.

The star of the show is their bread section. Why? Because they have a blue cheese kulcha, a shitake mushroom kulcha, a sundried tomato and olive kulcha and a cheddar and jalapeno kulcha – all priced at INR 70. Want white butter on your kulcha? They’ll do it for INR 40.

They had the lightest mutton rogan josh {INR 280} we’ve ever had {in terms of oiliness}, which was balanced by their malai kofta {INR 190}. Their tandoori chicken was juicy and elevated the experience a notch. We finished it with a serving of jalebi {INR 90} and rabri {INR 80}. To sip on, try their mocktails starting at INR 150.
