On July 28, step outside the confines of the city to explore this nature trail within the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP). Organised by Jack & Jill Adventures, this walk conducted by wildlife expert Nikit Surve is a great way to explore the natural beauty and bird and animal life along the route.
You'll meet up with the trek group at Sasupada near Hotel Fountain at 7 AM. Once there, you'll be briefed on the trail and you'll also learn tips on how to identify the natural flora and fauna along the route. They'll also provide breakfast from Cafe Miranda as part of the trip.
If you're a nature or outdoor enthusiast, you'll enjoy this chance to appreciate the monsoon beauty of the national park. Thanks to the expert guidance, it also promises to be an educational trek. It's an easy trail and ideal for first-time trekkers as well as those more experienced. The trail will take two hours to complete and it's great for anyone above the age of 8 years.
