A beach resort with a view to die for, and your Bae with you, feeling the cool evening breeze. Do we have your attention now? There's a resort called Nakshatra in Ganpatipule that caught our fancy and here's why we fell in love with it!
What's To Love: The place may not be a party lover’s dream but it surely is for those who like to sit by the sea and read a book. All the rooms are beach-facing and we can almost imagine falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Some of the rooms also boast of a small garden and yes, pets are allowed provided you pay an extra charge.
What's The Bummer: Despite it being pet-friendly, you can’t take your Great Dane on a hike here. They have a weight limit of 13 kgs.
Shell Out: The rooms start at INR 3,000 (expect to shell out more on weekends) and there’s plenty to see around-forts, ancient temples, palaces and beaches. We’re definitely considering this one for our next outing.
What's More: The resort is known for its peace and the fact that you can just sit in the balcony, stare at the sea and if it provokes you enough, go for a walk/run. We recommend this with your partner or your dog and if you’re an awesome lone ranger, the resort is perfect for a breather.
