What's Happening?

Theatre lovers, good news! Prithvi Theatre (and its much beloved cafe) have re-opened. From Thursday, November 26 to Sunday, November 29, watch award-winning actor Naseeruddin Shah take on the role of genius Albert Einstein in this production directed by Shah, with Ratna Pathak Shah and Arghya Lahiri.

The play is all set to explore a new facet of Einstein, the man behind the genius in Gabriel Emanuel's English-language telling of his story. Enacted by Naseeruddin Shah, the play offers a look at Einstein's life, his doubts, disappointments and failures that show the human side of this man who changed the way we look at the world. Humorous, engaging and emotionally gripping, Einstein as played by Shah is sure to captivate you.

Book your seats soon as the theatre is operating at 50% capacity currently as a precaution. Seating is free and all guests are expected to maintain one-seat gap for distancing. There will be thermal screening at the venue.
