Three years in the making, Bathing Rituals is the culmination of years of research, experimentation and learning. Inspired by her time abroad, Shiksha brought the passion she found while on her travels, home. Shiksha channelled innate creativity and curiosity into creating a brand that's all about making the skincare routine a real experience - one that's free of harsh chemicals, preservatives or artificial additives. It's all about harnessing the benefits of natural ingredients in their purest form. Experimenting with flowers, natural oils, plants, and fruits, she's worked steadily on creating products that are about going 'back to nature'.
We could all use a little TLC everyday, and that's the driving idea behind Bathing Rituals. Her soaps and bath products are crafted with natural ingredients, free of nasties and are completely vegan. Her bath products are crafted to keep the nutritive and skin-caring properties of their natural oils, plants and butters and are made in small batches with no chemical preservatives.
I browsed through their range of products and as a massive fan of all things rose-scented (all natural oils, no artificial fragrances here) so their rose scrub and rose soap definitely speak to me. While if you need something super calming and relaxing after a stressful day, lavender is a good bet (they have a lovely lavender soap). Everything is priced between INR 90 to INR 375 (hey, happy pockets!) but shipping costs extra. We love the fact that they're actively working to collab with local producers so their products are ethically made and fair trade.
