What Is It?
How Do I Get There?
Green Valley Park is in Badlapur, Navi Mumbai. Just board the local train to CBD Badlapur railway station and take an auto to the venue. The meeting point is the entrance of the park. You can even drive down and make a short road trip out of it.
What's Unique About It?
iNaturewatch Foundation is hosting the tree tour with Dr. Rajendra Shinde {HOD and Director, Botany Dept and Blatter Herbarium at St.Xavier’s college Mumbai. He specializes in Angiosperm Taxonomy} on March 11, where you will be given a botany class on all things flora {trust us, it’s going to be useful if you have your own home garden}.
We think you should go to try out something completely unrelated to what you do and see what the subject has to offer to you. On the other hand, if you’ve always been connected to nature, this is a step further.
So, We're Saying...
It’s a great opportunity to pick up some tips and tricks on trees and plants in general. You’ll also get to witness some greenery in our concrete jungle and take a long walk with some really interesting people. Follow them on Facebook.
