What Makes It Awesome?

The society by Hotel Ambassador is a classy fine dining restaurant serving for over 70 years now has launched its new oriental cuisine menu. The restaurant is located 5 mins walking distance from the church gate station, and very close to marine drive. The ambience is imperial and luxurious, beautiful decors with beautiful chandeliers. The staff is kind and courteous and very well versed with the menu.

Yesterday I was there with my mom for the new oriental menu.

Coming to food:
The mocktails we tried were very refreshing and perfect for relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Crispy onion cake:
I tried this for the first time and really liked it. It was extremely crispy. Wonton sheets stuffed with delicious spring onion in between.

Fish in ginger chili garlic sauce dry:
Fish slices tossed with ginger chilli sauce with finely chopped garlics. It was very delicious and just melted in the mouth. Must-Try!

Gang kiew warn:
Thai green curry, coconut-based gravy with exotic vegetables.. good texture and consistency.. it was served with steamed rice.. left a very mesmerizing taste.

Stir-fried chicken with water chestnut and celery:
Succulent chicken tossed with capsicum, ginger garlic and water chestnuts.. soft chicken and crunchy water chestnuts.. it was just perfect.

Date fried pancakes:
It was very different from the regular pancakes.. very crispy and stuffed with the dates.. served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Chilled lychees with ice cream:
It was such a great feeling to have lychee in this season. It is my favorite and hard to find in Oct. A layer of chilled lychees with vanilla ice cream.

Met the chef as well, very humble. The hospitality is top class and we really had a great time here.
