A Culturally Rich Cuisine
The incredible and culturally rich food cooked in Taftoon’s open display kitchen will make you relive the dishes from local home kitchens and farms to highway dhabas and royal dining halls. Their Shorba & Stewed Soups are perfect to begin your meal. Try out their Tamatar ka Ras and Lebu Chingri Soup. For starters, dishes like Fish Kobiraji, Galauti Kabab and Railway Khosha Chops are unmissable.
Taftoon’s ‘Sigdi’ section offers amazing tikkas and kebabs paired with breads. Do try out the Kathal ki Seekh and Lipta Jalpari Jheenga. Our favourite picks from the mains will be Litti Chokha and Labdaari Paneer. Their dessert menu is as amazing. Try out the Chena Plate which has assorted milk based sweets to remind you of samplers in a Bengali Sweet Shop. You can go for the classic Kaju Ki Kulfi too.
Sea Food From Bengal
Sea food lovers will definitely relish Makkhandari Kekda, which is fresh crab cooked with homemade butter from the Delhi royal kitchens and Kashmiri Gushtaba & Hamsher Rezala, which is Indian duck with a smooth cashew and coconut curry – an Eid special from Chittagong.
Off Beat Cocktails
To wash the delicious food down your throat, have Ode to Kipling – a Taftoon signature cocktail with vodka, pomegranate seeds, cranberry juice and fresh dill leaves. Another popular drink is Silk Route, which is a whiskey drink made with apricot brandy and fresh plum juice, smoked with dried spices.
