There's a lot going on around the world. And it can be hard to stay apprised of current affairs with so much constantly happening. Also, let's face it, most of us are on the go at all times or just busy trying to catch up with our daily routines without the time to read lengthy articles. But that doesn't mean we miss out on staying in touch with current affairs, right?
That's why I was kind of excited to find Nwsty, an app that delivers breaking news from around the world to your phone in easy-to-read, concise summaries. They curate 6-10 stories from various news digests and condense it into a format that's easy to understand. The content covers a range of topics from news events to international news, politics, world news, entertainment, sports, and science. I like that it runs on a daily basis, Monday to Friday and you can start your workday with a quick news bite. What's great is that if you want to read the full article, you can do that within the app as well. You'll also find NPR podcasts within the app that you can listen to. If you really want to keep updated, you can also get hourly news updates on the app.
