Shalvi posted on 21st January

What Is It?

The Versova Koli Seafood Festival is here, which means you can enjoy a weekend that's full of food {plenty of it}, fun, dance, music and a whole lot more {including beer}.

Who Is It For?

For anyone who is a sucker for delicious seafood preparations. This annual fest only gets bigger and better with time. When there, get prepared to be welcomed with hundreds of people, either waiting in queue for their food {there are so many stalls} or gathered together watching the traditional folk dances. The koli women are dressed in their best, cooking up some of the most traditional koli delicacies made with the freshest catch available. There will also be plenty of folk music that will keep you entertained.

Why Should I Go For It?

Because you will be silly to miss out on the delicious prawns biryani, bangda fry, bombil pakoda, fish curries, grilled crab and so much more. The food is served in fairly good quantities and what's even better is that it's priced so well, you won't feel the pinch at all. And for when you're parched, there's always some beer, so don;t hesitate to have your beer and seafood combo there. Frankly, if you love seafood, then attending this one is a must because this place is paradise.
