Taking the form of a full-blown delivery kitchen after killing it at several pop-ups across the city, The Omakase Kitchen should be on your speed dial.

What Is It?
A venture between Le Cordon Bleu-trained Ronak Nanda and pastry chef Jahan Baloch, The Omakase Kitchen is the newest Japanese and Korean delivery kitchen. Operating out of Waroda Road in Bandra, it serves some of the rarest Japanese and Korean dishes we’ve tried searching for in the city.
Chow Down
The menu is a mix of ramen bowl, stews and dumplings. We started with a glass of their Kopibucha {INR 100}, Ko-Ja chicken {Chicken meatballs with Korean and Japanese spices served with Japanese mayonnaise}, cold ramen salad {INR 350}, chicken and pork mandu {INR 300} and more.
The winner was the Korean army stew – chicken Stew served with their in-house chicken spam, noodles, chicken sausage, fish cakes, baked beans and vegetables. Also, Jahan has quite mastered the Japanese cheesecake {INR 250} that gives stiff competition to Daniel’s at Pali Naka. Our favourite? Their mini matcha mochi – a chewy delight.
So, We're Saying...
We are very happy that the city is opening up to kick ass Japanese eateries. The Blue near Eddie’s, The Omakase Kitchen and yet-to-open Yugo Sushi pretty much form the Holy Trinity of good Japanese food in Bandra.
