Before the monsoon hits us fully and completely, make the most of the pleasant weather by going on a trek to Mumbai’s highest point. The event is being organised by travel company Some Place Else who will take us through Sanjay Gandhi National Park, through to the highest park of maximum city on Sunday, June 18.
What A View: Get Your Camera Ready And Trek To Mumbai's Highest Point This Sunday
What Is It?
Who Is It For?
Those who would like to shake a leg and get out there, taking in the beautiful weather right now, and wouldn’t mind losing a calorie {or 200} while they’re at it.
Why Should I Go?
It’s a fun trek, which is aimed at beginners so you can’t use ‘I don’t exercise’ as an excuse. You’ll never go out there to trek on your own, so why not tag along with a group that’s already going and enjoy. From this vantage point that you’ll trek up to, you get a view of all three lakes of mumbai – Powai, Tulsi and Vihar and on your way back from the trek, see Kanheri Caves too. Just the walk through SNGP is beautiful and fun on its own.
Anything Else?
The cost is INR 1,450 a person, and this includes all your entry and permissions fee, travel from the gate to the caves and back, and more importantly: a packed breakfast and lunch for y’all.
It’s happening this Sunday, we repeat. Take a look at the event page here and book your tickets from this link.
