So, as you can tell, for me - no matter what the situation or problem is, pizza is the solution. Pizza is not just a dish, it's an emotion. So, clearly, I was on cloud nine when I came across Lil Gamby in Lower Parel. Kickstarted by entrepreneur Sohel Lalvani in 2021, this joint is an awesome experimental pizza lab that specialises in lip-smacking sourdough pizzas. Gourmet toppings, classic and rich Italian style tomato sauce and a heart-warming layer of cheese - their pizzas are truly comfort in a box.
Currently, they're offering pizzas in two styles of crust - classic thin crust and sourdough Neapolitan. And whether you're a vegetarian or a non-vegetarians, options are plenty (and all are drool-worthy). For our vegetarian friends, I'd say go for their Wild Mushroom Chimichurri, Burrata Margherita, Four Cheese or Asparagus Rucola Truffle. Or we'll let the expert weigh in here - Chef Sushil Multani - who recommends Charred Artichoke & Goat Cheese. Well, only because I love pesto, I'd slide in their Genovese, which should be your go-to if you love pesto.
Now, for our meat-loving folks, you can go for Belgian Ham, Lamb Ragu, Jerk Chicken and more. Annddddd. Pepperoni pizza lovers, UNITE! Lil Gamby offers Double Down, that's city's only pizza topped with 25 slices of pepperoni. Fun fact, right?
If you're looking for a side dish, know that, unlike most pizza joints, these folks offer fries instead of garlic bread so it doesn't leave you too full for the pizza. End it on a sweet note by Biscoff Tiramisu; New York Cheesecake; Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart and decadent Chocolate Mousse with Apricot Compote.
