A Mumbaikar is making our meat dreams come true- meet Roycin D’Souza, the maker of bacon cakes.

A photographer/videographer by profession, Roycin D’souza came up with the idea of making bacon cakes five years ago, when he refused to settle for a regular cake. He doesn’t stick to a set recipe and improvises with each order he takes in. You have to order in two to four days prior to the birthday. He also asks for your preferences as well. Want it less spicy, more cheesy? Make sure you mention that. Some basic ingredients he uses are pork and bacon mince, sausages, ham, salami, bacon and seasons it with fresh condiments. Priced at INR 2,500 it weighs 1.2 kgs on an average. People can heat the cake if they wish to. He delivers the cake himself {and covers certain locations around Dadar}.
