They've got one mission in mind: to revive the usage of the age-old wholegrain-based cooking method to prepare nutritious and wholesome snacks. And that's exactly what led to the formation of this women-led organisation called Yajanekka. Here, every snack order is prepared in small batches to ensure they are fresh and pure. They're offering a bunch of savouries and snacks using traditional methods. That's using wholegrain like bajra, jau, jowar, ragi, sorghum and amaranth. And they absolutely use no wheat, maida, rice or sugar. We already love these folks!
Handmade and carefully packed in glass jars, you can expect snacks like millet puri, all-nut laddoos, barley nimki, quinoa chai puri, oats nimki etc.
And their USP? For all kind of snacks, they use cold-pressed groundnut oil which is used only once. Thus, completely avoiding the re-use of the same oil for deep frying. How awesome and hygienic is that!
