What Makes It Awesome

For Anandita Parekh, a Mumbai-based baker, spending hours in the kitchen and experimenting with different ingredients was her definition of happiness. From the soothing aroma of freshly baked cookies to whipping up some cheesecake for her folks, baking has always been her hobby. But, this hobby soon turned into a full-fledged brand, which she launched in July 2020. Called Cravin' By Andy, this home bakery offers an array of vegan and gluten-free goodies, lip-smacking desserts, crunchy savouries and jars of happiness.

After turning vegan and gluten-free, her ingredients too saw a switch. So bye-bye, butter. And hello bananas. Her menu has tons to offer for health freaks, vegan buddies and of course dessert lovers. Expect granola bars, tea cakes, brownies, muffins, banana bread, flourless chocolate cake, brookie pie, crackers, Nutella and peanut butter jars. Scroll through their 'gram and you're sure to drool. I legit was. Apart from being vegan and gluten-free, most of the items mentioned on her menu are sugar-free too. And she's designed her menu in a way to satisfy the cravings of all age group. From your 5-year old niece to your 80-year-old grandparents.

With a special focus on healthy desserts, she draws her inspiration from her travel experiences. Especially from her 5-year stay at New York City where she gorged on some of the yummiest healthy desserts. So, yes do expect these tiny inspirations in your goodies. You can place your orders by simply DM-ing her on Instagram or you can WhatsApp her on  +918291770401.

The prices of the granola start at INR 300; tea cakes start at INR 1,250 for 1 kg; jars start at 450.

Pro-Tip

We hear her banana bread and flourless orange dark chocolate cake sell like hotcakes.
