What Makes It Awesome

We've all gotten used to dining-in in our pyjamas over the last few months. But I am so, so ready for a change of pace, food that's not re-heated in a microwave and a real restaurant experience (with the necessary precautions, of course). So when I heard that Qualia in Lower Parel has re-opened, I was excited to find out more.

Qualia's known for their modern fare and signature global dishes helmed by Chef Rahul Akerkar. If you're a fan of Italian fare, especially, Qualia is definitely up your alley. On the menu are tons of pizza and pasta options plus a special menu that had my mouth watering like the Q Margherita Pizza with roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, chunky chimichurri, Saffron Fettucine with  grilled prawns, spinach, lemon corn cream, garlic crumbs, chili oil and Smoked Ham & Brie Melt with fried egg on sourdough and a Lamb Barbacoa Tortilla with red cabbage slaw, Yucatan pickled onions, yoghurt cilantro salsa. Yum! If you like sharing small plates, there's plenty of options there too like the Lamb Kibbeh, Prawn Adobo, and Pumpkin Mac n Cheese. I'm saving space for dessert guys, and Rahul's Apple Pie Ice-Cream and White Cointreau Cake look fab!

I love that they have the option of outdoor seating - I don't know about you guys, but I much prefer the idea of eating outside rather than indoors. And they've made it really pretty too - perfect for an intimate night out. 

Timings: Wednesday to Friday, from 5 PM to 11:30 PM for dinner, and on every Saturday & Sunday, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM for lunch and 5 PM to 11:30 PM for dinner.
