Ten-Second Takeaway
Amritsari restaurant Oye Kake in Fort and Lower Parel is temporarily discontinuing its regular menu in favour of a special menu that celebrates the street food of Amritsar.
Chow Down
The temporary menu includes some of Amritsar's most popular street food, which would otherwise be hard - or impossible - to find in Mumbai. The joys will include a variety of lassi flavours, such as gulab lassi, namkeen lassi, pedewali lassi and more.

Mall Road, Amritsar's most popular street for its food, will also be featured. We will find bhalla paapdi chaat, achaar-mathi chaat and the bun-tikki on the menu, as well as main courses such as kadhi chawal, rajma chawal, kulchas, chole-aloo puri and so on.
The meal will end on a sweet note with halwa, chennamurgi and fruit-cream.
So We're Saying…
Our mouths are already watering. It's notoriously hard to get good chaat in Mumbai {please don't say Elco one more time}, and we're going to make the best use of this two-week-long offer.
