Kondura beach is one of the smallest beaches near Mumbai,, and it is encased in rocky shores off the Konkan coast.

What Makes It Awesome

A silver beach near a small village called Kalavi, it’s known for its calm waters and low waves. While you are here, you also have access to Kalavi and Vengurla beach. It’s one of the best-kept secrets of the Konkan stretch.

Kondura is also famous the Shyam Benegal movie named after the beach {Anugraham} based on a novel written in Marathi by the Marathi novelist, writer and playwright, Chintamani Tryambak Khanolkar.

It’s one of the pristine beaches on the Konkan stretch with white sand and rocky shores. There’s also a small cave in a small hill named Kond which you can check out. We recommend the visitors keep it clean and not litter.

The beach is situated in close proximity to Vengurla and Sawantwadi and falls under the Kalavi region on the Konkan belt.
