This Is Epic: A New Bandra Joint Is Serving Mac & Cheese Pizza In A Cone

The future has arrived as we know it as now you can get a pizza all wrapped up in a cone. That’s right, The Conical Twist is the newest eatery in Bandra serving pizzas in a cone.

The Conical Twist has been started off by Mayuresh Ashok Dal and his partner, Namrata Rawlani. After doing months of research and deciding on the concept they wanted for their food outlet, they decided pizza cones were the best bet.

The outlet has opened in Bandra, on the same road as KFC {near Linking road}. It’s situated inside the Link Corner Mall on the ground floor. Though they’ve already had a soft launch, a proper launch to the public is expected on Monday, June 12.

The menu currently has 11 types of pizza cones – including vegetarian, non-vegetarian and a section of make your own pizza cone.

The pizza cone is such a great concept, it’s not messy, is cheesy and easy to eat. We tried out the Mac N Cheese {INR 150}, Chicken Supreme {IBR 200}, and Chicken sausage {INR 180}. The cones are fresh, crispy and we’ve been told their sauces are in-house-made barring Siracha.

The crust of the cone is crispy. The toppings are filled inside the cone, topped with loads of cheese and then seasoned with herbs and more cheese. They put it in the pizza cone maker and voila!, under three minutes it’s good to go. The mac n cheese was subtle with its flavours but also at the same time really filling. However, chicken supreme is the real hero with a mix of bbq sauce, chicken sausage, chicken salami topped with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Hold your cone, you’re going to bite into heaven of cheese and meat.

They also have pesto, regular cheese cone and chicken chipotle chicken pizza cone. If you’re looking to experiment more then make your own pizza cone and choose the ingredients yourself. They will also be serving regular cold beverages like guava soda and watermelon soda et al.

#LBBTip: Make sure to go slow as the cone is really hot. Don’t end up burning your tongue.

Pizza in a cone is the comfort food we had been looking for since forever. It’s a cute take on pizza but it also doesn’t entirely take away from the traditional pizza flavour.

They are also planning on introducing flavours of the month {with arabiatta, or maggi filling} so keep a look out. All in all, we’re super glad this trend has found a home in Mumbai.
