“Sultan Bagh” is in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. A city located in south-east of Rajasthan and famous for Ranthambore National Park and fort. The nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur.
The National Park is 20-25 mins away from Sultan Bagh, a place where you might get a chance to sight a tiger if lucky enough.
We visited this place in chilly winters (temperature being 7-8 degree celsius) in the month of January.
The property of Sultan Bagh is spacious offering two types of tents specially- Maharaja and normal tents.
We had opted for Maharaja tents. The stays here are traditional though luxurious. You can roam in the property to enjoy the trees of guava, roses, marigold etc.
The property has recreational facilities like swimming pool, camp fire, pool table, table tennis, badminton etc.
The staff is extremely helpful and kind.
We took a package including stays + breakfast + lunch + dinner.
The food is delicious and full of Rajasthani flavours. Lunch would include veg and dinner would include veg and non-veg. The quality and quantity offered is up to the mark.
This place is recommended.
Just note, it is is closed in monsoon and so is the safari.
