A last-minute plan to head to Kerala took us all the way to The Bamboo Lagoon Resort at Alleppy. The resort is located at the renowned backwaters and the boat ride to the resort is absolutely magical. If you don't want to hunt for food of your choice in a new city, you can inform the resort in advance in advance and have all your meals at the resort itself.
A special mention for the extremely warm staff who were sweet enough too have switched on the air-conditioner before our arrival, to ensure ultimate comfort and luxury.
We strongly recommend you get out and explore the city. There are many view points, a trip to the beach is a must, along with trying local eateries. We suggest eating the mutton biryani at Halais {it's their bestseller}, along with some hot, lip-smacking kheema roti.
