What Makes It Awesome?

A last-minute plan to head to Kerala took us all the way to The Bamboo Lagoon Resort at Alleppy. The resort is located at the renowned backwaters and the boat ride to the resort is absolutely magical. The property is surrounded by palm trees and water on all sides (what else do you need) and the most perfect place to be at on your holiday.
The resort in all its glory is very pretty. Boasting of authentic Kerala-style architecture, the resort houses small cottages and rooms, and their dining area is in the garden. We can vouch for the comfy rooms and can guarantee a good night's sleep here. If you don't want to hunt for food of your choice in a new city, you can inform the resort in advance in advance and have all your meals at the resort itself.
A special mention for the extremely warm staff who were sweet enough too have switched on the air-conditioner before our arrival, to ensure ultimate comfort and luxury.
We strongly recommend you get out and explore the city. There are many view points, a trip to the beach is a must, along with trying local eateries. We suggest eating the mutton biryani at Halais {it's their bestseller}, along with some hot, lip-smacking kheema roti.

Pro-Tip?

The good guys at the resort also arrange for a houseboat experience, with shikara rides available and is very reasonably priced. It is an experience you must get your hands on!

Anything Else?

What we loved the most about The Bamboo Lagoon is that it's perfectly located and perfectly priced too. We managed to get a room for INR 3,240 per night {taxes and breakfast included}.

The host is very hospitable and accommodating, and will help you in the best way he can.
