What Makes It Awesome

Portico is a buffet restaurant and a beautiful one to spend time with your family. Great hospitality and you'll feel all welcomed and have a generous time here. I was here for the Mughlai Festival and now for the Maharashtrian food festival. All these cuisines that they serve with the theme are just amazing. The interiors and beautiful and their staff is courteous hence I enjoy my time here. I am always disappointed with their drinks though. I've tried lots of those but haven't found a great one yet. They've tried and brought all of the starters presented pretty well.

So we started with the chaat section and here's my take on it :

MOONG DAL KACHORI : This was THE BEST thing I tried in the chaat section. Such crispy and flavorful kachoris with the delicious filings and dressings were a delight to have. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

PAPDI CHAAT : Papdi Chaat were amazing with the appropriate amount of toppings and satisfying flavours.

PANI PURI : Panipuris were great with tangy flavors.

DAHI WADA : These were a little bland and could be improved.

Coming to the starters now :

CRISPY CORN : This is one of the light snacks you would enjoy munching along with the others. One of my favorites here. RECOMMENDED!

TANDOORI FRUIT CHAAT : Tandoori pineapple was my favourite topped with spicy and tangy flavours and then roasted till perfect.

MELTED MUSHROOM : I'm not a mushroom person but to my surprise these were absolutely delicious. RECOMMENDED!

SOFIYANI TANGRI : The chicken Tangri were tender and succulent. Melt in mouth and accompanied with the flavorful Chutney complimenting it the best.

ROTI KI SEEKH : Mutton Seekh kebabs wrapped in chapati and served along chutneys. The kebabs were soft and tasted great.

I had no place left for main course so I tried just
PANEER KHURCHAN - and it was absolutely amazing. One of the best I've had and I didn't feel the need to even have anything else as I was so satisfied with it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Since there's always some place for desserts, so here I go with them :

SHAHI TUKDA : Oh God! If I could, I would've taken this lot home. These were so delicious with the perfect balance of sweetness
To me these were just perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

JALEBI COCONUT CHAMPAKALI : This is from the live section, and Jalebis were prepared really well. These were crisp, topped with dry fruits and were good. RECOMMENDED!

Since it's a buffet restaurant and they have vast number of cuisines, I won't be able to mention about everything I had but I had a really great time being here.
