What Makes It Awesome?

Plate & Pint is a classy themed cafe in kemps corner ideal for a group of friends to talk over lunch or some healthy all day breakfast. We visited it on a weekday during lunch hours, like we usually do and to our surprise, it was 75% full in terms of occupancy. The place has its own in house bakery which looked like a major attraction amongst the local and most of the customers were the regular ones who visit it frequently considering the fact that they knew the owners very well. We decided to occupy the smaller yet cost chairs at one corner of the cafe. It was an hour past 12, so we were out of choice with respect to certain breakfast dishes as they are served during that time slot only. We went ahead with few others anyways:

Guava Ginger:- I Never miss a chance to order healthy & fresh preparation of drinks whenever served with an opportunity to do so. This time wasn't different either with a guava ginger concoction prepared. I initially thought it would be mocktail juice though it turned out to be a thick shake with the major flavours of guava & ginger pretty evident along with a pinch of salt and bit of basil flavour at the fag end of the drink. Recommended & healthy

Watermelon & chia:- Say no to canned juice as this watermelon preparation will make you completely believe what I just said. The freshness is intriguing and the element of mint is a result of the inclusion of chia, a flowering plant from the mint family. Highly recommended.

Another fact about this place is that all the sauces are prepared in-house and hence the taste might differ to other places who procure it from a third party.

Other recommendations from my side are:
Irish baileys shake:- If you don't try this you miss on a major thing for sure.

Molten Belgian chocolate fondant.

BBQ Cottage cheese shashalik.
