Pretty Lights, Suleimani Chai & Books: Do You Need More Reasons To Visit Prithvi Cafe?
While most might think that Prithvi Theatre only hosts plays and that you can't visit it for anything else, let us take this opportunity to prove you wrong and introduce you to Prithvi Cafe situated right outside in the same compound. We can't begin to tell you how beautiful Prithvi Cafe is. You probably already have it all figured out. But we cannot stop ourselves from feeling overwhelmed every time we visit this dreamy place. Prithvi cafe and theatre is a place where the artists are celebrated, apart from serving some delicious food, kadak cutting chai and its famous Irish coffee.
What Makes It Awesome
If you're wondering what to gorge on, we're giving you a plethora of options because choosing just one was difficult for us too. For starters, order for a Suleimani Chai for INR 24 (Songwriter Gulzar's favorite) with their Chilli Cheese Toast for INR 160, and maybe club it with one of their Hummus bowls starting at INR 190. If caffeine is your BFF, go for their famous Irish Coffee at INR 140. Move to their lip-smacking Mixed Parathas. An amalgamation of potatoes and Paneer, this mind-boggling plate of heaven is served with Kaali daal, Raita, and Achaar, for INR 150.
If sugar rush has taken over your system, call for an Excessive Chocolate Waffle for INR 230. Or, you can do something better than that. Gorge on their newly introduced desserts-The Apple Cinnamon Pie, and the Blueberry croissant. And then for the digestion of it all, let Beer Bottle Chhas do the trick at INR 55.
However, if you're just in the mood to have conversations with buddies or colleagues and keep it light., order for a Puff and a Cutting Chai, and weave stories over it. P.S- There's also a bookstore for you to grab some Gulzar with chai maybe!
If you’re craving for a little oasis in Mumbai, along with some star-studded glamour, chatty people and great food, you’ve got to check this cafe out.
P.S- Don't give their Kheema Pav a miss!
