Double Dhamaal: Move Over Resorts With A Pool, We Found One With A Water Park Inside It

Remember the smell of sunscreen mixed with chlorine when we’d go for a family picnic or holiday with a pool very close by? We’d always wonder, what could possibly be better than a hotel with a pool? But move over that, we say. Would you like a hotel with a water park? Check out Rainy Resort in Badlapur that boasts of just that.

A resort that’s located 3 kms from Badlapur railway station, it houses a water park with two swimming pools, six water slides, a children’s park, jogging tracks and an area for rain dances. The normal entry fee per person is INR 250, and they do not charge children below two years of age. This doesn't include food, but there's an in-house restaurant.

The resort also has rooms to offer, should you want to spend more time here, with 30 standard rooms, two dormitories and even a bungalow (each room has a bathtub, and we’re pretty kicked about that!)

If you're wondering how to reach the place, it is 3 kilometres away from Badlapur railway station and about 2 hours from the city, if you take the Eastern Express Highway (MH SH 80). If you take the local train from CST, it’ll take you over an hour to reach Badlapur station, and then you have to take an auto to the resort. There are regular local buses that will also take you to your destination, too.
