The ambience is simple with a hint of Konkani style interior and wooden seatings. The wall is decorated with mini utensils that are using in Konkan Region.
What I ordered:
Kothimbir Vadi: It is a popular deep-fried snack made with gram flour and coriander leaves. It was crispy from outside and very soft and flavorful from inside served along with a little sour green chutney.
Main Course -
Zhoonka Bhakar Thali: It consisted of Rice Bhakri, Zhoonka, Amti, Solkadhi, Onions and Coconut Chutney. The quantity of Thali is really good. Every bite was very flavorful. And the hero of the dish for me was Solkadhi, I sipped it down within seconds.
Guava Marry: One of my favourite mocktails is guava marry. It was very refreshing and the spicy hint made it very delightful.
Solkadhi: Solkadhi is a very very refreshing and tasty drink, a speciality of the Konkan region made of Coconut Milk, Kokum and Garlic.
Kharvas - It is a traditional sweet dish made with milk. It melted in the mouth and the most recommended from my side.
Summarizing, a good place to relish Malvani cuisine in Thane with family, friends, or colleagues. The staff is very attentive and gives good recommendations.
