Before it started screening Bollywood movies in the 1930s, Royal Talkies was known to show small documentaries and plays. With a seating capacity of 600 people, it is less frequented by Mumbaikars, but still a fun haunt to go check out if you want to know more about – and experience – Mumbai’s cinematic history.
