We found a home decor store in Lokhandwala called Sandy Art Gallery that features lovely miniatures which are any collector’s delight.

Sandy Art Gallery can be easily missed given that it’s cushioned between all those clothing outlets clouding the Lokhandwala market. The store is exactly like how we imagined it to be, except more. We found sections and shelves stocked with the loveliest of miniatures we have seen in the city.

We’ve been told that most of these artifacts and miniatures have been sourced from around the world, especially South-Asian countries such as Japan and Korea.

We found miniatures spoons, kettle set, kitchen sets and even bedrooms displays including everything from a mini bed, to a cupboard beautifully displayed on their glass shelves. There were really unique artifacts in the store and one can browse their shelves to decide on a specific souvenir they want to possibly pick up for their friends or relatives. However, if you are a collector, this is the store to go to as they had the cutest mini saucers, forks, even a garden set all inclusive of a white table and a chair complete with a flower vase. A packet of mini spoons starts at INR 50 and goes up to INR 1,500 for a full kitchen set.

If your home decor store style is minimal, then instead of scouting for massive items, how about a lovely corner decked up with miniatures? However, if you’re a collector, then this is your personal heaven and we say go knock yourself out.
