A five-bedroom villa, it can fit up to 15 guests, a perfect number if your extended family has been looking to all get-together and spend a bonding weekend chatting, playing games in their vast lawns, or indulging in some indoor fun.
A big ground and this cottage standing tall right in the middle of greenery is nothing but a welcoming sight. You enter the house to a deity and as you explore, there are heirlooms placed in every nook and corner, including four authentic Tanjore paintings, each with a story.
The lawn has a small temple done up typically in a Kerala style – traditional multi-storeyed Kerala lamp lights, and an attached meditation room perfect for a session in the morning. While granny will b pleased with this part of the house, there are ample things to do for the kids like table tennis and carrom board. And if nothing of this seems interesting, they even have a library with a good range of books.
The host is not okay with loud party scenes, drug consumption, or smoking inside the villa. But they are also not averse to you having a good time. Drinking in limits is permitted. Which basically means, this will be that relaxed and soothing getaway you’ve been looking for. And the villa is walking distance from a local beach, and about 2.5 km from the main Kashid beach. The best part? They allow pets.
Breakfast is included, and there is free parking too. All five bedrooms are air-conditioned and have attached private baths. They also allow long-term stays in case you’re looking to detox. Once decided, speak to the host at length and fully understand their cancellation policy which is rather strict. For a price of INR 2,000 per head per night, we believe this villa will prove to be oh-so-relaxing without burning a hole in your pocket.
