Vidur posted on 03 June

What Makes It Awesome?

It’s that time of the year when we pay our summer homage to the royal fruit of the season – Mango, known as ‘Ma Muang’ in Thailand. Mango has experimented in cuisines across the world. However, the celebration of the fruit holds cultural significance in Thailand where the fruit is commonly used in both sweet and savoury dishes. This summer, Nara Thai BKC brings to you a limited edition mango menu featuring sweet and tangy salads, hearty mains and indulgent desserts available exclusively at Nara Thai, BKC until end of June. Start your authentic Thai experience with a refreshing >Mint Mango Salad: That makes a terrific accompaniment with the natural sweetness of the mangoes, which is offset by the chilli kick and mint. >The Spicy Turmeric Chicken: It is a twist to the age-old grilled chicken with lemongrass that adds a mouth-watering aroma. For seafood lovers, try the Stir-Fry Prawns in Mango and Coriander with prawns tossed in a glorious gravy and coriander that adds a kick to this dish that is balanced by the sweet mango. From mains, enjoy the Mango Red Curry a warm delicious bowl of Thai curry that comes with coconut milk flavoured with both raw and ripe pulpy mango along with a plethora of seasonal vegetables. The curry can be accompanied with a portion of steamed Jasmine rice and makes for an ideal summer lunch. TheSpicy Mango Fried Rice is pan fried with lots of ginger, garlic and juicy bits of the sweet and sour raw mango finished off with some lime and fresh basil leaves, making the dish fragrant and heavenly while the wok tossed Stir-Fry Mango Noodles come with shredded raw mango, tossed with vegetables and chicken. A Thai mango meal is often incomplete without the quintessential street food special; Mango Sticky Rice which is served with a drizzle of sweetened coconut milk topped with roasted sesame seeds. Round off a delicious meal at Nara with the signature Mango Crepe Cake - a 20 layer tower alternated with chunks of fresh mango and whipped cream served with a divine mango sauce that is poured over the crepe cake layers. Made to perfection, one is never enough to satiate one’s guilty pleasures. These mango-infused dishes will surely have your taste buds snapping back to life and making this summer more Mango-nificent.
