Scrumptiious in Versova started off as a tiny hole-in-the-wall eatery, but now has expanded into a cafe-esque space . It’s one of the few places in Versova that opens up as early as 7.30am and stays open till 11pm everyday barring Thursday.

The cafe is our go-to-spot for massive hangovers that we harbour post an intense night out. Cheesy is the buzzword on their menu, and Scrumptiious lives up to its name. By no means do we declare it as a cafe that delivers spot on food or even ambiance, but is it the neighbourhood cafe for getting cheap grub? Yes, indeed. They have an outdoor seating area as well, and though the place is often crowded on weekends with night owls who made it to the morning in once piece, it’s a cosy cafe where we’ve seen couples delightfully indulging in their full English breakfast.

We suggest sticking to the basics here. This includes the breakfast that is served from 7.30am until 12.30pm. Our suggestions would be: the fluffy and filling omelettes {INR 175}, classic egg florentine {INR 175}, the waffles and pancakes. Or go for the signature breakfast, with add on such as bacon and sausages.

For cheesy outings, they do a good plate of overloaded chicken nachos {INR 240}, and other few selections from the appetizers section. Apart from this, is worth a skip. Though, keema pav is worth a try if you’re in that space.
