Ten-Second Takeaway

One of the biggest malls in the city, Phoenix Market City in Kurla is a palatial treat for shopping and food options. There’s every possible brand you could think of, spread out across three floors with interesting installations all across. In case you get hungry, there’s Barbeque Nation, Chili’s, World of Waffles and more. Want to have a drink after shopping? Head to The Irish House, Pop Tate’s or Bar Bar.

Also, if you’re planning on wearing heels to hang here, drop the idea and opt for your most comfy pair of sneakers, because there’s a lot to see. We tried to control our budgets and only shop for the best of the best – all under a budget of INR 10,000.

Aldo

When we entered the mall, we could not help but notice the Sale sign at Aldo, and entered despite knowing a shoe would probably cost us around INR 8,000. Still giving it a shot was worth it, though – we exited grinning ear-to-ear after getting our hands on a pair of sunglasses for INR 1,290.

Zara

These rad shoes right out of a futuristic film were looked at with love by many admirers at the store. We sneaked in and took them for INR 2,290.

Money Left: INR 6,420

Body Shop

With the sun setting us up for a tanning spree all the time {even in November, sadly}, we decided to pick up this new, extra-strength sunscreen from The Body Shop at INR 2,495.

Money Left: INR 3,925

H&M

H&M is the pride of Phoenix Market City cause – it’s the biggest store there, and it’s offering T-shirts and tops starting at INR 150 at their current sale. We decided to choose this bag for it reminded us of the good old college days. Durable and the right size, it came at a price tag of INR 1,999.

Vero Moda

This T-shirt dress with a slit on the left side is our choice for a care-free night out scene. You can choose to pair it with shorts or just join the #nopants movement along with the Kardashians. This cost us INR 1,695.

Money Left: INR 231

Colorbar

To complete the shopping spree, we picked up the new Just Smoky Kajal from Colorbar for INR 650. It was a smooth-gliding kajal that’d be perfect for date night shenanigans.

Money Left: INR -419

We used up the remaining budget to cool ourselves down with a Mr Bubbles Tea for INR 130. Hey, it had been a long, tiring day.
