Located deep in the bylanes of Mumbai's wedding market, that criss-cross Santacruz Station—West, there’s a store that stands out from the rest. No doubt that there are a sea of stores here selling jewellery, clothing, accessories and footwear, and the market itself is amazing… but Silver Palace has got products that make it unmissable.
On the lookout for silver jewellery, we walked into this tiny, unassuming store to find out that they didn't have much in store, however before we could bid farewell, we were blown away with the most fabulous beaded bangles, colourful kangan sets, and super chic kundan headbands that were shown to us.
This Bollywood and our favourite, Masaba approved store has been making and selling fabric-based, chunky jewellery for decades now. They’re one of the very few stores making headbands and bangles with intense beadwork, that are perfect for wedding season too! Like you'd expect with any bangle store, you're going to find a huge range of colours to match whatever outfit you have in mind. What sets them apart, though, are the design options—from ethereal pastel pinks with clear crystal beads to chunky, bohemian ones in bolder hues.
Their signature, kundan headbands aren't available in many colour choices, but you'll easily find multiple jewel shapes and cuts that caught our eye, and won our hearts from diamond shapes, squares, smaller jewel sizes and more. You can easily pair the kundan headbands with breathtaking indo-western ensembles or the chunky beaded bangles with a simpler-looking suit sets, to elevate an otherwise simple outfit.
When it comes to the price range, here’s the real kicker. The range starts at just INR 300 and does not go beyond INR 1,200!
