What Is It?
You wake up on a weekend morning and feel like achieving some fitness goals. Except, the membership prices mostly everywhere are off the roof, and there is an obvious dearth of walking, jogging and cycling areas in the city. But not if you know about this Sunday cycling track that Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) started that was flagged off by Aditya Thackeray in December in presence of cycling junkies.
We are talking an 11 km, two-lane dedicated cycling track from NCPA, Marine Drive all the way to Worli sea link. Which means no honking, way less pollution and some serious biking. The tracks are open every Sunday from 6AM-10.30 AM to all those who are interested without any fee. What’s even better? Cycles are given for hire at both entry points for INR 100, and other safety gears like helmets are also available. Sounds like a dream, ain’t it? We wish BMC continues to provide similar cycling tracks to other parts of the city as well.
So, We’re Saying…
Make your weekends count and start it early morning cycling on this dedicated track, meeting other enthusiasts on the way.
