South Of Vindhyas, An ambience that transports you directly to the south of India with staff wearing a typical South Indian attire and the food served here that speaks volumes of the southern Indian heritage. We walked in for an evening dinner and were greeted well by the staff, we were offered a traditional style hand wash before we started our meals.
Soft veena music played by the musicians live was the perfect accompaniment to our meal. We started with some papadams and an appetising soup, the spicy chicken broth and a veg rasam like preparation both delicious. Up next we’re two sets of appetisers each comprising of pepper chicken ghee roast chicken and some medu vada n veg cutlets.
For the mains, we opted for a traditional set meal ( thali ) one non-veg and one veg comprising of lot many options within it. For the desserts highly recommend the payasam, The ras malai and the piping hot Gulab Jamuns. To end the meal a perfectly made filter coffee was the ideal bet.
