What Is It?
Your Own Dublin Street
St Patrick’s Day is the day when hoards of green wearing Irish people stumble out in streets in Ireland, and proudly so as they commemorate the death of Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. A mix of a cultural and religious festival of sorts, it’s all about frolicking around drinking on streets, showing up for the parade and being your merry yourself.
This year, The Irish House is recreating the famous Dublin Street in the High Street Phoenix Courtyard as they’re organising their annual St Patrick Day’s Carnival. Expect your Irish pub music, live performances, green beer, awesome food from The Irish House Kitchen, cool games and so much more.
