What Is It?

If you’ve always been curious about St Patrick’s Day and how the Irish do it in Ireland, head to The Irish House St Patrick’s Day Carnival at the High Street Phoenix Courtyard for two days of carnival on March 18 and 19. Just deck up in your finest green and don a hat because if you’re doing this, do the Irish folk right.

Your Own Dublin Street

St Patrick’s Day is the day when hoards of green wearing Irish people stumble out in streets in Ireland, and proudly so as they commemorate the death of Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. A mix of a cultural and religious festival of sorts, it’s all about frolicking around drinking on streets, showing up for the parade and being your merry yourself.

This year, The Irish House is recreating the famous Dublin Street in the High Street Phoenix Courtyard as they’re organising their annual St Patrick Day’s Carnival. Expect your Irish pub music, live performances, green beer, awesome food from The Irish House Kitchen, cool games and so much more.

Who Is It For?

For you to go and experience a traditional St Patrick’s Day celebrations. We understand how Ireland may be far, but hey, Mumbai is a melting pot for different culture and this year celebrate it the Irish way.

The Irish House will be organising a host of activities this year like Karaoke and Man Vs Burger {challenge yourself there mate} during the day time. They even have a super cool gaming zone with Limbo, Hammer & Nail, and Basket Pong. The first evening has a special unplugged performance by Rohit Vasudevan. The day ends with a stellar performance by Sahej Bakshi aka Dualist Inquiry, one of India’s favourite and very innovative rock-influenced electronica artist. On the second evening, bring out the inner musician in you with the djembe drumcircle by Taal Inc. The Irish House St. Patrick’s Day will conclude with a power packed performance by one of India’s top Pop Rock bands, Best kept Secret.
