A lot of us do try to look at the night sky in the city, but hey, it's not always easy to spot stars now, is it? That's where this cool workshop comes in. It's time for you to experience what the night sky really looks like, and check out the Milky Way and certain planets like Venus, Jupiter, Mars and more.
Adventure Geek has organised this cool expedition from Nov 23 to Nov 24, where you are requested to reach the campsite in Saphale by 5:30 PM on Nov 23 (take the local train or a vehicle), session one (introduction, observing west sky objects and satellite tracking) at 7:30 PM, session two (astronomy awareness video program) at 8 PM; followed by dinner from 9 PM to 10 PM, session three (night sky constellations, etc) at 10:30 PM; nap from 1:30 AM to 3:30 AM followed by a tea break; watching the early morning sky from 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM; watching the satellite & iridium flares from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM; followed by breakfast.
The team will be awake all night to observe the night sky, so in case you wish to stay awake the whole night, you can. The price per adult is INR 2,000 and child is INR 1,500. The price includes tent charges, night sky gazing equipment, tea, water & snacks, dinner and breakfast.
