Started in 2018, Twin Tring is a bicycle subscription service based in Mumbai. It is run by two young co-founders, Abhinav Kothari and Dhwani Shah. They have recently started with subscription-based electric cycles, and the LBB Crew gave it a try!
We tried the Avatar electric cycle, which comes with a detachable battery that you charge like your mobile phone. It was a smooth ride, and you can easily switch from manual to electric with one tap. We definitely loved how simple it is to rent these cycles, as you can easily get them delivered to your doorstep.
We are also travel enthusiasts, so we also tried their foldable cycles. You can rent these and carry them anywhere. It looked difficult to fold, but with a little help, you can easily tuck it in your car trunk.
Let's come to how economical they are. You can get a monthly subscription for just INR 2,400 per month, which is around INR 80 per day. The electric cycles give a range of up to 70 km on one single charge. Plus, Twin Tring provides free home maintenance and servicing of the cycles.
