Handcrafted With Love: This Bag Store Is Slaying It With Its Funky Prints

Mall visits are few and far between, and on one such (lucky) occasion, we stumbled upon something so darn pretty, that we had to write about it. When you head to Growel's Mall in Kandivali, you can see stalls full of really interesting merch. One such brand stunning us with its deliverable was Sufi Bags, a stall specializing in batik-print bags. Obviously, we had to stop and stare at the gorgeous collection. 

Beautifully done up, the little stall is heavily laden with clutches, totes, purses, pouches and other bags. When we got in touch with the owner, he mentioned that they’re handmade with Batik prints available in all colours. While the material is sourced from South India, all the bags are handmade in Mumbai itself. We loved the Buddha print bags and the Aztec bags on display. Also, they had amazing clutches that can match outfits fit for any occasion.

Their pouches were also funky, with prints that were both modern and retro at the same time. The range starts from INR 250 (pouches), INR 200 for clutches, INR 350 for strapped bags and INR 800 for their totes.

They’re usually circulating in different malls in the city but for the present, you’ll find them at Growel's in Kandivali, and Viviana Mall in Thane every day.

 You don’t really need a reason to pick a bag this pretty; what’s awesome is that you can use it for any occasion and dress yourself up by just making a statement with them. For that, it’s totally worth it!
