Most of us have spent a lovely weekend at Matheran at some point. With the weather being amazing right now, treks are what is making that side of the region so interesting.

Wandering Birds is organizing a trek to the highest point in Matheran. There are two ways to reach the highest point- one through the village of Neral and the other through the Panvel Dodhani waterfall. The trek to Sunset Point involves walking through dense forest area and crossing small but various patches of rocks and gravel. The duration of the trek is approximately 5 hours, hence experienced trekkers should consider this.

Once you scaled the highest point in Matheran, treat your eyes to the gorgeous view of Kalavantin Durg and Prabalgad in the distance and enjoy your time amidst a variety of flora and fauna, some of which you might have never experienced before.
