Helmed in the kitchen by 65-year old Savita maushi, Sushegad is the place to take it easy on a Sunday when you want to go on a food crawl. This Goan-Konkani joint serves amazing prawn chilli {INR 220}, bangda fry {INR 100}, surmai fry, prawn cutlets, chicken curry, prawn vindaloo and fish curry. Do not miss out on their Goan fare – whether it’s xacuti, vindaloo or cafreal. Pescatarians, dig into the fish thali {INR 150} and make sure you get a nap after.
The place is a hub for people to pig on Konkani fare and mind you, if you’re expecting s fancy setting that’ll ooze romance, head elsewhere. It’s a tiny eatery, but it’s wonderful nonetheless.
