We love eating from food trucks – something about the on-the-go food, people flocking around the trucks, and distinct style of each make us want to go and try them all in Mumbai. Though most of us go there for the food truck staples, crispy burgers, hotdogs and fries, there are a few food trucks churning out amazing desserts, cheaper by the dozen. Try them all, and tick it off your foodie list.

When the tummy gets a-rumbling, the Supper Hero’s food truck comes to the rescue. Though they’re your American fast food food truck, with classic burgers, fries and pizzas as their offerings, their desserts leave you surprised. Have their crème brulee {INR 65} which is beautifully made and isn’t sickly sweet, and has that lovely crack they refer to in MasterChef. They also have a hazelnut cheesecake, s’mores and a magic chocolate ball {INR 100} on the menu. Their timings are 7pm–11.30pm, closed on Mondays.

After a satisfying chicken roll or veggie wrap, have their nutella pao, a fluffy pao bun filled with thick nutella and extra chocolate sauce {INR 60}. Their timings are 6pm–11pm.

Vashi in Navi Mumbai has its very own fancy dessert truck, the thought of which is making us too happy for our own good. Hungry Monsters dessert truck was started by Alisha in June 2016 and since then has become a local favourite for its delectable desserts.

They keep on their fixed menu cupcakes, cookies, fudge brownies, and have a specials menu which keeps changing – sometimes strawberry desserts, quiches, pies, and even cinnamon rolls. You can find them open between 5pm–10.30pm.

Parked at: Sector 17, opposite Axis Bank, Vashi
